Is It Weird My Armpits Smell So Good?

I think the headline kind of tells the story here. I’ve been firmly anti-natural deodorant, because give me all the chemicals in the world. Just kidding. Ish. Anyway, I’ve been highly skeptical of natural deodorant because I have my father’s sweat genes and they show no mercy. The idea that nature has ingredients that can control these pits is comical to me. Anyway, I started following 12-Ish. She talked about thigh chafing and boob sweat in a story. ATTENTION RECEIVED!

I gave in like the chump I am. Megababe has now changed my life! This is absolutely in no way an ad for them, it’s just been a product that has truly made my life a LOT better.

Rosy Pits

I cannot say how much I love this stuff. Not only does it stand up to my sweaty genes, but I SMELL GREAT! I actually wish the scent came in a perfume because I think it’s perfect. It’s not really a solid balm or a liquid, it’s a hybrid feel to me. When I first applied it I felt some cooling action which I was very excited about. (Note, it really is sad the things I get excited about these days.)

Had I not read reviews I would have felt like a complete weirdo that I was randomly smelling my pits but apparently it’s a thing. As I went about my day I get little whiffs of rose and it’s nice knowing THAT is what my armpits smell like and not what I would smell before.

Megababe Thigh Rescue

Summer is one of my least favorite seasons due to chub rub. I’ve convinced that no matter what size I am, I am always going to experience it. So I’ve found ways to get rid of it under dresses and skirts. I always wear these shorts and they also are amazing because I can bend over without fear and am a lot more mobile. However, there are certain situations where I can’t wear those shorts.

I cannot explain to someone the physical pain my thighs have if they touch after rubbing all day. I have literally had such bad chafing that I’ve had bloody thighs. Enter thigh rescue.

I tested it out by wearing a maxi skirt that normally I can’t wait for more than an hour because it’s so suffocating. A WHOLE DAY PASSED. I had so much freedom. I rubbed my thighs together all day and I went to bed, know that the true test is when I wake up. The next morning I woke FREE AND CLEAR of any rubbing damage! I did a happy thigh dance and then jumped into the shower to start my day. I’m telling you, if you have thigh chafe, this stuff is going to be your BFF! And there’s so much of it that if you buy it for the summer, you’re set! No having to keep buying expensive stuff that is slightly embarrass.

Plus your thighs smell good. That alone is worth it.

I’m not one to get so excited about products but I LOVE these two. Also, I love the Megababe message of love and celebrating yourself. The community is like a Glossier feel, but for truly body-inclusive moments and leaders. I am very proud that it’s also started by a blogger which just proves, blogging isn’t just writing and hitting publishing. This is a real thing that can take you super far. And take you far without any chafing.
