Confession: Ever since I wore this sweater in December it’s been wadded up in a corner of my closet. I completely forgot about it until I was cleaning out my closet and it hit me that I hadn’t worn this since the holidays. I’m not the only one that has ever done this, right? Anyway, so when I decided to wear it I realized that I couldn’t figure out a new way to style it. Nothing worked with the slight peplum or 3/4 length sleeves. Finally I realized that I hadn’t worn my vest in a while and suddenly everything fell into place. Plus I needed the extra warmth because it’s still frigging cold out and I’m not about freezing in the cold just for photos.

In other news, I have officially started looking at jobs. Yep. I bit the bullet and looked up all those dreaded career builder/job websites. I realized that I can’t keep on saying I’ll apply jobs next week because next week comes and goes by entirely too fast. If any of you have any marketing/communications/jobs in general let this girl know. Because I’m already overwhelmed and worried. It’s hard to figure out if you would love a job based on a webpage explaining your duties and whether or not you will get dental insurance. Who knew that getting dental coverage at a job would be so hard? Sigh. Adult stuff.

re: jobs, craigslist is still one of the best places to look! reply to everything you think you could do, whether you're technically qualified or not. a good cover letter/introduction counts for so much. don't limit yourself to your area, because they're are plenty of telecommuting/freelance positions in your field.
