I was tagged by Sandy over at her blog to answer six questions. Considering that I haven’t had time to really put together outfits due to our move from hell, this was perfect timing.
1. Who or what inspires you?
My brother has Down Syndrome and is the most inspiring person I have ever met. He never fails to have a smile, laugh or hug for anyone. He treats everyone with kindess, regardless if they are rude and stare at him because he is slightly different. No matter if he is having a good or bad day he finds a way to make a friend everywhere he goes. People always know him by his cowboy hat and boots he insists upon wearing, even in the hot summer. He doesn’t let anyone treat him differently, he wants a job, to go to college and plans on being a cowboy when he grows up. He has absolutely no inhibitions.
Womp. Womp.

Haha – you are hilarious.
I too, love some Benedict Cumberbatch.
My aunt has Downs and reading about your brother (thank you for sharing) definitely made me think of her and all of the love she seems to be able to dole out to everyone day after day, regardless of how they may be treating her. She's amazing.
Also, love that dress. It flatters your curves like crazy.

You look beautiful! I love that your brother is your inspiration! And dude.. another reason why you should move here. There are grocery stores that DELIVER to your house. You just go online and pick the stuff you want to buy and voila, at your doorstep! 🙂

First of all, love this look. So classy and gorgeous. Secondly, your brother sounds completely amazing and inspiring. Then, my girls have been telling me to Netflix SH. They are pretty much obsessed with Benedict and say that he is incredible in that show.

How sweet that your brother is your inspiration! And there's been times that I wanted to cry in the car because I couldn't figure out where I was going (despite the gps) so I totally relate.

IT is always so fun to learn things about other bloggers! I LOVE these types of questions. Your brother is very inspirational —- just reading about him and how he lives with no inhibitions is so amazing. Good for him! I hope he accomplishes everything he wants to and more 🙂
I WOULD ALSO LOVE to hire someone to grocery shop for me. I HATE it. I just really hate it. I have to do it, but I would also hire someone to cook meals for us. I don't mind cleaning, if I can find the time to do it… I just never seem to have that time. OH I would probably hire someone to do my laundry too lol. I don't mind the actually laundry part, but I hate putting my clothes away.

So I can sleep with my closet door open, but I can't sleep with my bedroom door open. It makes me feel safer for some reason.

Loved this post! I am glad I am not the only one with direction issues. I once circled the airport twice, saw the people I needed to pick up from a distance and yet could not figure out how to park, where to park. I felt very clumsy and defeated. New roads and routes generally make me apprehensive at first. I also have some quirks like when I am under the comforter, it has to be completely symmetrical, no rumpled or uneven edges please.!

No matter how good the directions if it's the first time I'm going somewhere I will AlWaYs get lost, no matter what. Now that I have a GPS on my phone I do better, but it only takes you to the vicinity of. I need someone to hold my hand and direct me til I arrive at the door. Great post and very nice blog.
Your brother sounds like an amazing person. I have known many folks with Down Syndrome and it never ceases to amaze me how loving and accepting they are. Always a smile and a hug. Unconditional love. I work as a Pharmacy Tech and interact with lots of patients/friends. Such fulfilling work and I look forward to seeing my true friends.

I love your ladylike looks lately!
And clowns, I hear ya – I guess you haven't read "It" then, a Stephen King novel about a clown …
I'll have to disagree about the mascot thing though – I love them! I wish I could be one!

I totally get not being able to sleep with the closet door open. I think it's just one of those residual childhood fears about something being in the closet.
Your brother sounds pretty amazing. and i'm sure he is pretty lucky to have you for a sister.

OOOH I totally cannot sleep well with the closet door open. My boyfriend leaves it open sometimes and not once, but several times, I woke up screaming that there was a man standing in the closet. He remembers to close it now haha.
