Do you know what is even more offensive to me? The fact that the day before this the temperature was warm enough that I only wore a light jacket and scarf. A LIGHT JACKET AND SCARF I SAY! When I awoke the next morning to see the awful, powdery substance that is only good on December 25th, I groaned. Kansas, you really know how to ruin a girl’s day.
The problem with Kansas is that winter doesn’t arrive until one random day in late December and stays until April. The skies are grey, unlike the song “Home on the Range,” quite cloudy and EVERYONE has heard a discouraging word. So for the next two weeks I’m just going to try and deal with life while thinking about beaches, sun and other happy things. Oh, and probably eat a lot of sugar to stay peppy.

Late to your post I do say, but oh hon you look so awesome. I love every single bit of your outfit and of course your hair. Your winter sounds brutal, so much so I'll skip telling you about the good weather days we've had in CA. I will share though it got cold enougj to snow here, and people acted like they didnt know what it was! Not to mention how they drove in it. Shudder.
