These past two weeks have been a little trying, to put it kindly. Nothing bad has happened but nothing has gone smoothly. Standing meeting times suddenly wouldn’t work for people, I missed my best friend on campus by 5 minutes everyday, simple things took 3 times longer than necessary, women have been catty for no reason, and in general I haven’t been feeling it. I get really upset when I have a set agenda and that doesn’t get accomplished due to someone else’s lack of planning. To be honest, I felt a little down about life. I keep on telling myself that I’m doing fine, everything is going to workout in the end and all that jazz but I am a type-a person and with that comes anxiety and general over-thinking. I KNOW, I KNOW thing really will come together and I will laugh at myself for being worried but I am not there yet.
I really am trying to just take it one day at a time and certain days that works better than others. On those days where I am taking it one day at a time I love life and am not as stressed. I’m trying to remember that great feeling. I’m attempting to roll with the punches and not get so bent-out-of-shape when things don’t go according to my planner.

Sometimes life can feel out of sync, and there's nothing you can do but ride it out and wait for things to fall back into a somewhat a bit more normal stride. You might also be feeling a little anxious or sadness mixed in with the fact that you're college years are coming to a close and your wondering what your future will hold. I've felt this very way, of course not for the same reasons as you. I've learned when this happens go easy on yourself, allow a little more lazy time if possible, and realize how wonderful everything is going to feel when you get through this slump. Feel for you hon. <3

We all have those days sometimes weeks and even months when nothing seem to be going accordingly, but guess what? It won't last forever, nothing last forever. You look so cute btw, love the necklaces.

I've been having a similar couple of weeks. Where everything just kind of goes…wrong? I don't know. But, I feel you and although it's hard to stay positive it's all you have to do. Love you in these boyfriend chinos, girl! Looking relaxed and carefree!

A few of my things this week have had to be rescheduled too. I hate when people can't stick to their deadlines!!

I feel like weeks like that are the epitome of stress. It's just things don't want to flow smoothly. INSTEAD OF THINGS FLOWING LIKE WATER THEY ARE LIKE CHILI. YES, CHILI. Spicy and viscous. I hope things get on track again, lady.

After I graduated college I felt like this, mainly because finding a job was SO FREAKING HARD. But I focused on the good, little things that made me happy, which was back then a new relationship, friendships, enjoying the nice weather, etc. 🙂 It will get better soon!
Jessica
I'm right there with ya, sista. Sometimes I feel like things are so out of my control and I hate it. On the plus side, you look gorgeous in this getup 😉

Oh girl – I am with you 100%. I get SO frustrated when my plans get derailed because of someone else – as I've gotten older (an ancient, whopping 27 years ;)) I have learned to let go a little more and roll with it. It used to upset me much more than it does now that my husband is literally late. for. everything. But it was something that is not worth ruining my day over, and people who know and love us don't care if we are 10 minutes late. Senior year of college is sooooooo stressful for those of us who must plan, who must know the answers, and must take care of everything all by ourselves. 🙂 You will get there girl – 1 more month right? 🙂

People suck sometimes, yes? I hear you.
Let me know if you wanna get together and have a vent session. 🙂
PS- you look gorgeous in green! Those trousers are killer!

That is the best attitude you can have – life is full of all kinds of ups and downs and there is nothing you can do about it. I am loving your layered statement necklaces here, I should do this!

I am a planner myself so I can sympathize with stressing when things don't work out!

Hang in there girl! That was me last week. Hopefully things pick up for you soon! Although things aren't going so well, you sure look fabulous!!

Love the green pants, may have to get a pair. Things sometimes fall apart so better than can take place! Remember this too shall pass and the journey is the enjoyment, not the destination! So glad we sat across from each other at that meet up my dear! xo

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a hard time. It will get better, but it sure stinks when you're i. The midst of it! You look great, I love these pants by the way.

Keep on smiling, because things will get better especially after this semester! I am at that point where I feel overwhelmed, and I understand what you mean, I hate when I don't get things accomplished that are on my agenda. With those amazing green pants, you will brighten your day.

Umm this is like the story of my life. I always feel like nothing is working out and I am ALWAYS down about everything. Just call me Debbie (as in Downer). But you look adorable and that should make you feel a little better, because being dressed cute always makes me feel better (even if it is just a tiny bit)

If it makes you feel any better…this outfit is amazing! I tend to be a worrier and have anxiety about life, too, but it's totally not worth it. I completely understand that in the middle of it you can't help but feel anxious though. I've been in a bit of a foul mood the last couple of days, too, though–maybe it's something in the air? haha

I'm having one of those weeks too–I SO feel your pain.
On a different note, I'm kind of in love with those green pants!
Kari
Hang in there! I go through those bouts, too, when nothing seems to be going smoothly. Then you'll have a day when everything seems to go great. I'm sure that day is coming up soon:) I love those green pants and those necklaces all put together is awesome! Love it! It's almost the weekend. Hope you have a great one:)

I've been having those kind of weeks lately too! One thing that always helps me is at the end of the day, I write down 5 positive things about the day, even if it's something simple like "I got to have 3 meals today" or "I can hear". It always helps me keep things in perspective…..hope it helps you out and you have a better weekend!

Just keep moving forward and think positive, do things that make you feel good about yourself and of life. I too am an over thinker and get anxiety when I worry about things not working out, or when changes happen in life, but things WILL get better. It's good to vent out frustrations, it lets go of all that negative energy.
Looking fabulous as always in those green pants! Love the casual everyday look.
Feel better <3

Ah who hasn't been there? And, as I'm now learning, it continues into the real world/job world, too. There's only so much you can do. At least you look adorable though! Love those layered necklaces.

totally feel ya! it is so my personality to get out of whack when other people mess up my scheduled items. even though it's hard, I have to realize I can only control so much. it's pointless to be upset about things that are completely out of your control! hoping things turn around for you soon.
also- love the bling with the casual outfit!

My least favorite words in the English language might be "it will all be ok"… sure it might be, but saying it just stresses me out even more! Good luck lady, take some time for you!
