As a kid I loved snow. As an adult I hate it. It’s cold, messy and turns everything into a slushy mess.As a kid I thought it turned everything into a winter wonderland. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Well, it’s a winter wonderland for a whole 10 minutes. Another bad thing about snow is that when you have to work you still have to look decent despite the fact that it’s about 20 degrees out. So what is a girl to do? You still wear your heels. Yes, that’s right. I still wear high heels. If I’m going to have to deal with snow I’m going to do it in style and put on slippers the moment I get inside. Plus after a while your feet become accustomed to the cold and you are just like, screw it, I want to look cute.

So yeah. I wore heels in the snow and I regret nothing about it. Besides I just make Andrew carry me over the icy spots. Just kidding. But for real he did that. So glad I’m dating a guy who just rolls his eyes at fashion practicalities and does whatever I ask.

OMG at 20 degrees I would have 20 layers of clothes on I am such a wimp lol. But you look great in the comfy sweater, I hope the snow didn't ruin your shoes.

This outfit is so cute! I'm not going to lie, I'm a wimp with my feet when it's cold and snowy. All I want to do is wear shoes that allow me to wear socks!

you crazy girl with your feet in the snow!!! Love this look, though – super cute!

Snow really is ridiculous and messy. I know that I hate it because it's impossible to ride your bike in the snow. IT'S CRAAAAYZAY! And cold, yes. You're ridiculous for wearing those heels in the snow but I luuuuh that you did it anyway. π

You are brave girl! I don't know if I could stand the snow on my feet, but then again I don't live in a particularly snow-y area so I'm not used to it at all. Snow can still sometimes be a novelty! (Especially if I just happen to get a snow day and go sledding like an 8-yr old!)
Rachel
I haven't taken any outfit photos since it has snowed, so I give you a lot of credit! haha

No way, I could not do heels in the snow! Besides freezing, I would likely fall down. A lot.
Loving your necklace, so cute!!

You look utterly adorable and have more guts than me! I'd be layering on socks and going with cute boots instead of heels.
Lindsey Louise Bales
ah, you are a brave lady for heels in the snowy weather! i have been sticking to boots, most of my shoes are older and they have no traction! although i do love the snow, it limits my variety of shoes that i can wear!

I feel just the same about snow. It was great when I was a kid and I only thought about school being cancelled. As an adult I realized that work doesn't get cancelled and you have to get up extra early to shovel and dig out the car. No fun.
You are pretty brave for trudging through the snow in those heels – I imagine Andrew would have needed to carry you because you would have lost all feeling in your feet!

haha! I love that you worse heels out in the snow. That's the way to do it! I live in California, and we don't really get snow unless you're going up in the mountains, so I don't have the delima you're having; however, I"m sure I would still sport my heels in the show.
Allyssa
snow* haha
Nikki
Umm stop being mean about the snow!!! I want some since we have none. Also, your feet in the snow made my feet cold. It is a good thing you are going to be in Vegas soon so you can thaw out!!

Ugh. So over snow and cold and everything winter. Hate it. Hate.
But you look awesome, I love that top!
Darcy
Oh girl you are a brave one for going out in heals! Not necessarily because of the cold, but because I would be worried I would slip and fall! Haha I struggle enough as it is when it's icy and I'm in boots… I can't imagine heals!

You look so cute! I am very impressed with your heels in the snow! I would have frozen toes! I agree about looking cute. I always pack my heels and wear boots in and out of work.

You are either brave or completely nuts. I haven't worked that one out yet. I would be wearing the Hunters and changing into my heels when I got in to work. I find these days if my feet get cold like that I can't feel some of my toes and then I can't walk properly. It would not end well with snow and ice on the ground. Did you end up with puddles in the bottom of your shoes? Hope the shoes didn't suffer too much (or you!). Love the look, especially the striped jumper with that cute pocket and tassel necklace. I finally found a silver version of your necklace recently and snapped it up in a post Christmas sale. Still a few months off wearing it autumn/winter style though.

I'm with you; snow is the worst. Pretty, yes, but that's not enough to make me like it. And wow, you really were brave to venture in snow that deep, with those shoes!
Priya
girl! you are crazy! I cannot believe you actually wore those heels in the snow. the few times I've worn shoes without socks (or not boots, in general) in the snow I've been miserable! so I guess I'm just seriously impressed. also- I love that sweater!
