There are some perks to being a college student. One of which is winter break. Uh. Yes. Amen. Praise Baby Jesus. I am so happy for this whole month off and I feel like I am constantly smiling because the weather has been it’s normal craziness but I have been able to have to much fun with Andrew and truly relax. After the whirlwind of a semester I had in the fall I could not be more grateful for this wonderful break. Andrew and I have been talking lots, planning silly things and he has been preparing me for playing blackjack in Vegas. We went in 2012 but I was entirely too intimidated to actually play blackjack with all the men in sunglasses and smoking cigarettes. The slots, although with the worst odds, are definitely more my style. I get to push a button and see lights flash. It’s the simple things in life. That you pay a $1 a spin for.

I would be lying if I felt totally confident about blackjack this time though. I have it on my Kindle and Andrew has been training me but when I actually get to Vegas I lose my nerve and am like I DON’T KNOW THERE ARE SO MANY LIGHTS AND THINGS HAPPENING. We will see what happens this trip.

While I don't have a clue as to how to play cards, I think my main concern for vegas would be thinking about all the fun and just slightly over the top outfits I could wear. Glass of champaign, high heels, a limit to how much money I was going to throw away and then cross my fingers for just a bit of beginners luck.

I agree about winter break! it's so refreshing though mine ends Tuesday and admittedly I didn't do too much. I love this outfit. It's so chic and yet casual. I love it! I'm too much of a pansy to play table games, but my sister works at a casino and tries to convince me I could do it! I, however, love a slot machine. Her biggest table game tip? If you lose three hands, leave the table!
