I was bad at Nordstom the other day. You’ve already seen the booties I bought but I also got this lace peplum top and delicate gold rings. What can I say? I’d already spent too much on the booties so I needed to make it worthwhile. At that point I was like, heck, what is another XX dollars? (No, I won’t share with you the actual number because I do actually feel bad. But not bad enough to return the items.) Plus, I felt crappy and it was cheaper than a $100 an hour therapist cry session.
I was drawn to the top mostly because it had lace sleeves, it was cute, and most importantly, it was on major sale. Then my boyfriends mom sent me this cute brown skirt and I knew that the shopping gods were really rewarding me for splurging. I mean, the skit has BLACK in it and I had just purchased a BLACK top with BLACK boots. Heaven ordained shopping splurge if I ever did see one.

I totally get the idea of you've already spend X dollars, so why stop now? I have had moments where I walk around with a cart at TJMaxx filled with like 20 things I need and can't decide what to get. So I either buy it all, or get really stressed and just walk out of the store, leaving the full cart in the middle of the isle.
I think you will get a lot of use out of this top, it will be perfect for the holidays, and clearly can even work for the office.
