You all know that I do not do nature, camping or anything else related to not being in AC. There is something about fall though that sometimes makes me feel like I want to be outside all day and have s’mores and cuddle with Andrew in a blanket. I have yet to do that so this is still just a feeling. I say all of this to tell you that when I wore this outfit to work, two people asked me if I was planning on going hiking. Hiking. In booties. In a jeweled vest.

I mean, I did have to walk up the hill at KU that day but that was about as close to hiking as I was going to get. Both of these people were males so I figured they just saw flannel and a cargo jacket and tried to relate and make small talk. I did however get asked how my camping trip went when I went back to work the next day. Uh….it was fine? I slept in silk pajamas, ate s’mores, lost 5 pounds while sleeping and caught wild bass in Kansas. They got my sarcasm pretty fast. Although if all of those things happened I would be a happy camper, but for now I’ll just wear my vest.

haha..your colleauges are cute! i'm just same as you..camping,hiking or anything sweaty ain't my hobby and interest. i prefer girlish ways..shopping,sleeping in,any places with air-con.but my man love outdoors,sometimes i have to accompany him in order to be with him.big sacrify? haha..your vest is unique and i love it so much! nice smile too.. xo

I have to say this does look outdoorsy, but in the best (and cutest!) way possible. My camping experience pretty much extends to glamping (ish) on a beach. Although I'd definitely try the wilderness one time!

Hahaha love your coworkers reaction. I guess you could go hiking in that outfit, you'd be the most fabulous hiker on the mountain 😉 I just bought a pair of very similar booties from Target and they are the comfiest things ever so you probably could hike in them.
